Historic Museum Re-Opens After Green Renovation

Imagine a museum that lets the sunshine and sea breezes inside! The new California Academy of Sciences does just that, and those features are just the beginning of it's sustainable attributes. In fact, it was awarded the U.S. Green Building Council's top rating of LEED Platinum certification for its outstanding green building efforts.The Museum has been educating visitors since 1853, and was in need of a major renovation after an earthquake in 1989.
