In a surprising exception (an interesting article in the National Post ), Jonathan Kay makes what he calls a conservative argument for a carbon tax.Reading the piece, there seems no reason to define the Carbon Tax defence in a partisan way. It's just a good idea.Kay goes onto then criticize Canadian Liberal leader Stephane Dion proposing - a carbon tax. (Now, THAT's partisanship.) While parts of piece are predictable, it is thoughtful, informative and it makes some reasonable criticisms about the weaknesses in Dion's proposal. All in all worth a read ... ...
