Greek researchers develop material to better store hydrogen in cars

These researchers - Georgios Dimitrakakis, Emmanuel Tylianakis, and George Froudakis - modeled a structure made up from parallel graphene sheets, that is, layers of carbon just one atom thick. Each layer was stabilized by vertical columns of carbon nanotubes and lithium ions that helped increasing the storage capacity.
