JAJAH and Intel go Green

If you're green geek or a tech geek, you'll appreciate JAJAH and Intel's announcement today that they have partnered up to release remote wake aware telephony software for a new generation of Intel motherboards. What this means is that a properly equipped PC will be able to go to sleep to save energy, and then wake up to receive an incoming telephone call. A modern PC can draw 300W of energy when on. In a household like mine, with 7 or 8 PC's running at any time, that's as much as 20 electric light bulbs left on constantly.The motherboards in question will be available next month.R...
